Measure the clearance of an obstetrical.

Everyone says you should know the height of your rig, but what do you use to measure an obstetrical like a tree limb that may be in your way. Carrying a 13' pole is not really and option.

A Stanley “Fat-Max” tape measure will reach 13’+. Siding installers use them all the time for estimating jobs.

My Dad used an old magnet mount CB antenna on the roof of his truck. He trimmed it to 2” higher than his 5er. If the antenna cleared, so would the trailer...

I have a laser measuring device. The one I have I got from Home Depot.

This is similar, and has more range.

The wife is well beyond child bearing age so we don't worry about obstetricals while in the RV.
