Mice

Hey all,
Found proof of mice in our 5th wheel that sits on our property, I put bait blocks, stickies, and Irish Spring soap everywhere I could reach and haven't found anything else more but my wife just woke me up at 2:30 AM says she hears them in the ceiling , how could they get in ceiling ? Please help , any suggestions? What to do ? Danolamo

Look for mice activity in areas where they could get in there. If the roof ac is not sealed inside they could access there or in the skylight from inside? You could set some traps. Another thought They could be in the overhead ducting.

Either way, I hate them critters!

They climb right up the vent pipes in the wall to the ceiling. There are also probably a couple openings where the wiring enters the ceiling.

A mouse only needs a hole the size of pen/pencil to squeeze through.

We had the same thing happen to us, I took foam and put it wherever i could find a space, particularly where the water pump is located, and also where the heat vents enter under the sink, we had Irish spring and the mice ate it, so that wasnt such a good idea, then our son bought us those ultrasonic plug in thingys that i said were garbage, but we have never had a problem since, going on 2 years now!

I had to remove speakers and lights from the ceiling to get traps up in between ceiling and roof. I caught nearly a dozen up there when I opened up after this winter... First time we had critters...
