Microwave Noisy

New Jayco Northpoint shake down trip. Made microwave popcorn and new LG microwave made awful noise while cooking. Checked rotation trey and it was seated with no obstruction. Made popcorn but I have never heard a microwave that noisy. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Question: Running on shore power, or on an inverter? If it is shore power I don't have an answer, but inverter there may be an answer.

Shore power, but I would appreciate any clues although my inverter is not on.
Thanks

If it was on inverter, the next question would be "Modified Sine, or Pure Sine?" A microwave doesn't like modified sine, and will always be noisy (but work if the inverter has enough output). As I said, though, on shore power I dont' know what would make a microwave noisy.

If it was a popping noise I have a theory.

Thanks, good one...Seems to be working fine with all functions. Maybe a mounting vibration or the magnetron may have a issue. I'll check further when we return home and take it down.

if it's a loud buzz or hum...my guess is a noisy magnetron.
