I have a question. I am going to install my Progressive Industries EMS behind the converter. I don't have the factory generator prep, but I am installing one myself. Is there room in that void for my transfer switch box and the EMS both?
Here is the switch I plan to use. https://www.progressivedyn.com/rv/au...ansfer-switch/

I don’t think you’ll have any space issues. However, it is a rats nest of wires back there so you’ll probably need to do some neatening up to give you the room you need

32" only really had to add a board to the hinge side to hang the door on and it really added support to the bunk sidewalls! did it on the knob side also and had much more support on that wall too!

wow that looks awesome. Maybe a longer term solution but we'll have to stick with the slider for now...assuming I can get it back on!

Nice job on the door Kahoneys. How does the weight compare to the slider?

I'm assuming about twice as heavy but I didn't throw them on the scale. New door was 46lbs before I cut it down so its probably 40-42ish pounds now and I think the pocket doors are about 25lbs.

You’re bang on. Each. I weighed the pocket doors on our bathroom scale and they are almost 26 lbs each! Way too heavy, and the hardware allows them to bounce. The 4 thin and not so long screws in each finally stripped out, from repeated re-tightening. I used longer (those black long wood screws), the fiber split and they too were no match. They are pressed fibers in all that density. If you include the bathroom slide door and master door, both same material, I estimate about 140 lbs in three doors, plus even the pantry door may approach 25 lbs. If Jayco would try using much lighter poplar solid core doors and laminate them to the same color, that could be saving at least half that I’d guess.

AWESOME Can I tell my wife that I was right for a change??

Our 2016 377 came with the swing doors and not the pocket doors for the bathroom and the bedroom. Now all our doors a swing with the same hardware. After seeing the pocket doors in the 2018 377 I really thought the bathroom pocket door would be nice for it occasionally seem to get in the way for the family when were getting ready in the morning. Thanks for the warning on the pocket door hardware issues.

Picked up my new landing leg today

A real PITA to remove because the bolts were obviously installed before the fiberglass so I had to cut them off and go get new ones (which I haven’t done yet)

Got my new carriage bolts and finished up the landing leg replacement. Something that should have been so easy turned into a real chore. I couldn’t get the leg fully seated into the brackets. Because of this, the carriage bolts wouldn’t go through both holes. Finally got it done with some choice words and a BFH

Landing gear works like a champ now and auto level works great too.

Maybe it missed it somewhere in another post but what happened to need to replace it?

I was having problems with my auto level. Turns out my front jack was bad. Not the motor but the leg itself. Couldn’t take it apart to investigate but I’m guessing the threaded rod was jammed or the weld that holds the nut in place broke.

Trying to add a dimmer to the awning lights, pretty sure I found the right wires under the dresser and by the dinette. Two pair, One pair is 16 guage, the other is tiny. My guess is the tiny wire are for the lights. Please le tme know if I'm correct before I go hacking away. Thanks

Hey
Finished my dimmer install today. I have another thread out there somewhere and will update it too. That one talks about the issues in finding the wires in mine and having to use the small inline dimmer instead of the box style
I also soldered, heat shrink and filled/sealed with silicone
I learned that there is an in and out on the dimmer. It is not marked but when it did not work I figured it may be directional so I turned it around and works great

I installed mine behind the fuse box and I do not recall it having a different setting but is more than 2 minutes.
