Watch out, Tom. Jayco has gone from copying your mods to reading your mind. My 2018 has a light in that exact location, switch under the left cabinet.

I was thinking the same thing. I've been reading this thread for about six months, making my list. The only two I really need to do are the AC vents and the bunk steps on my 2019.

I agree, a light should’ve been there. Job well done Tom! Our 2017 has an LED strip light under the cabinet in stead of the light fixture you have. I find myself using the micro light and under can light equally.

So did you get that extra one from your dealer?

Darrin

I got the light from another dealer that was close to where I was working today. I stopped in and they had one left on the shelf. I was just about to order it from Amazon

That’s very handy to have it available locally. Again, great job.

For the short term I’m sure.

Was hooked and ready to go for a weekend and the slide f’d up again. Couldn’t go.
Dealer closed. Slide stuck out.
Dealer was no help the next day unless I got it to them.
I sent an email to Jayco and blasted them.
I fixed it all myself.
F them all.
I told Jayco not to even respond to my email..I will be bad mouthing them every chance I get.
They did respond though. But that’s where it ends for me.
When you’re a backyard mechanic and build custom houses for a living, it’s hard to see this trash Jayco pawns off and keep a smile on my face.

Dang man I’m sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel...still dealing with a cracked sidewall that’s been “fixed” three times.

Getting caught up on some mods. Got my bunk steps done and my shower faucet changed. Also made some straps to hold my wheel chocks.

Mods to 377 RLBH?

Nice job Cannon. The steps are a huge improvement. I've not checked to see if Jayco has caught on or not to this improvement in the current models? I did mine exactly the same way (used pine) before I found the 377 mods thread. I've not stained mine yet. Lol.

And I really like the new shower faucet. Keeping the hose pointed downward is key to not kink the plastic hose we already have. However I replaced the shower head wand with an Oxygenics 5 way wand from Amazon. It's about $50+ I remember and it's a champ! Comes with a 72" plastic hose, and still hooked into stock faucet.
