Bunk Room Light Switch
We finally got the bunkroom light switch moved to a useful area. I left the light switch in place for the lights above the desk, but moved the room light switch to the door way. The other picture shows how I hid the wire. I took a piece of edging and covered it up so that we would not pull or rip the wire out when using the cabinet to the right of the control panel.

[QUOTE=Magnolia Tom;372891]
Here is the soundbar. It fits in the little space in front of the tv. I reinforced the shelf to support the weight. It's Velcro'd in and I move it and set it on the counter when in use.
Hey Tom, I did the same exact thing. Then I saw you already did this well before me. How did you support that flimsy shelf the sound bar is on? Just some small L brackets?

Mods to 377 RLBH?
Very nice Redbird!
I just noticed, you have a "wall" between the fridge and cooktop. I don't have that on mine

The wall: well sometimes when you ask questions you get walls. I mentioned that the floor was moving when i walk in the hall to the bath. They built the wall.

OUTSTANDING, Redbird7!!! What a great modification! But looking at your photos got me confused enough that I just went outside to look at mine...
I also have a 2016 377RLBH, however, it doesn't have a solid partition between the stove area and the small fridge. Mine is wide open. It looks like you built-up the floor of your compartment so that it's about flush with the bottom of door edge? (so the fridge door will open, I presume?) I may just replicate this mod, as I have a Coleman Roadtrip and a smaller grill already converted to low-pressure, and I really wouldn't be using that little stove for anything....
Thank you for sharing!!!!!

Here are some in depth pics of what i did.
added 2x2 then added 3/4 plywood on top. then added laminet flooring.
Dont worry about the wall. it was a dealer add on. Not really needed.

I've already got a couple of bundles of hardwood flooring left over from commercial renovation that I worked on.... I'm designing (in my head), what my options are.... I'm thinking of just "building up" under the fridge, to give me a bit more room inside. I want to design it so that if I'm going somewhere were I KNOW that I'll be dry-camping w/o electric hook-up, I can just yank the fridge for the trip, and have that much more storage room.....

The cabinet shelf is made as one piece with the cooktop. If you take it out the shelf the fridge is on must come out. The fridge is only held in with 2 screws on the front and a angle to slide it back to hold it.

I don't think they mark where to drill for your dryer vent.
I have 2016 Pinnacle and will be installing my washer and separate dryer hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
Talked with Jayco and they cannot tell you where to drill for the vent.
Do LOTS of careful measuring!!
Probably not as bad as it seems.

Got all the insect screens installed over the weekend. Wired in the direct tv, PS4, split the direct tv into the 5way splitter (looks like crap though on the other tv's), sound bar and wireless headphones wired into the tv and receiver. Actually put sound bar on top between tv and the pillar that drives it up. Finished heat guard tinting all windows then adding Reflectix to the Windows that take the most amount of sun abuse. Picked up PVC and sun shade to make a wall coming down off of the large awning for some extra evening sun shade. Also, learned that flies were making there way into coach from vent inside basement, close that and no more flies.
Learned that even with my best efforts to keep heat out there are some spots that just cannot be won. The afternoon and even sun puts direct sunlight on the passenger side of the camper. Today's high temperatures was 88, and I used my heat gun to monitor certain areas for heat. Temps from 84-110 degrees recorded from the master closet (top right in the one set up for wash&dry). Around window frames the metal reached 117-120 degrees. And random spots on wall in hallway 92-97 degrees. The temperatures in the hallway are ONLY when the awnings are not down. BUT seemingly nothing can be done for the remaining spots. It's going to be a warm summer.

How do you get your direct tv? Mobile dish or roof mount?

Roof. Winegard g2+. with this satellite you can receive HD with dish and another provider (can't think of name) but NOT direct tv only standard definition with them.

Yes I have been thinking of replacing ours with a hunter fan. Really any fan of appropriate size should work as long as it's a ceiling mount style.

Just bought a 2017 377RLBH. Having been looking at this model for a while I can report a few changes they made for this year. One is a pocket door to the bathroom! Another we noticed is they have made the island a little bit bigger.. Once we take delivery I will definitely be using some of the info here to modify our 1st ever 5th wheel.. Thanks to all for posting here and if there is anything else you would like to know about the 17 model we are taking delivery next week! Woo Hoo!!!
1st impression is that I will definitely be changing the entertainment setup. If you are sitting at the dinette or on the left hand side of the couch you can not see the whole picture. Would be very interested in seeing what others here have done about this issue. I think I will plan on placing a freestanding TV in the same spot but moved towards edge of counter, with a soundbar hooked up as well. Not real impressed with the sound of the Furrion system. I didn't have a lot of time to mess around with it though... I should also mention that we do not plan on towing this anywhere. It will be parked year round at an RV campground in the Adirondacks.. So we would have no reason to want to have it retract. Also, how do others here winterize the residential fridge on these? I assume I will have to run antifreeze through it and in the spring replace the filter after flushing the system with fresh water?
Anyways, thank you all for your input here! Has made for some great reading and wish lists!!
