I fixed a flickering 30” Samsung monitor screen(graphic processor board), it still works fine to this day...and also our 8 year old residential Frigidaire dryers logic board, but that fix lasted just 7 months for some reason. New board was $165, found a used dryer for $50.

It’s all about the inferior lead free solder used in these boards that eventually the heat gets to it and causes microscopic cracks and fissures and the electrical resistance goes up and loses critical voltage to where it can’t process instructions. So people do this trick to reflow the solder in various electronics. Even old smartphones. Do some research to what temps and times others have used and you’ll get an idea. The post oven smell will go away in no time if the DW is concerned.

I’ll look into it. Thanks

Still need to clean up and find something to trim out the edges. The quarter round is a bit bulky and I couldn’t get it around the curved wall despite making a bunch of kerf cuts and wetting down the backside.

Tom...try some of this...https://www.amazon.com/Flex-Trim-fle...9663236&sr=8-2

My buddy used it on some pillars he had in his house that were round. Worked great for him. He painted it to match his wood floors. It came out amazing!

Thanks Dan. Yes I’m very familiar with flex trim (I build homes) and I considered getting some but I’ll probably end up doing something that looks more factory

I just bought some of the vinyl plank for my trailer, I was curious if you used glue or if you left it floating, I will be installing mine in a few weeks, any tips are welcome.

I installed a floating floor. Did not use glue.
If you buy the snap lock style of flooring, be aware that you will have to work around furniture that isn’t easily moved to get flooring to snap into place. So, careful planning of which direction to lay the floor and which side of the room to start is important. There are some tricks to overcome some of these challenges but if you haven’t laid a lot of flooring before, it will really frustrate you.
If you are using the peel and stick type flooring, the install is much easier to slide a piece under the dresser or the bed. Also easier to cut.
