Thanks Tom!
Yeah, in the first pic my putty knife is visible. On the road I used my brake spoon to pry the outer trim piece from the ply underlayment. Took some gentle persuasion. Removed the pin nails with pliers, the adhesive with a putty knife. Watched your vid, audio cut out about 11:30 min, may have been a WiFi glitch.
The sleeper sofa has been replaced with theater seating (Thomas Payne). Very comfy! Current project is to secure to the slide floor. Need wall clearance, more than the sofa needed, similar problem/solution on JOF inspired my solution. Front of the recliners need to overhang the slide edge. Will try to remember to take some pics and post.

Yeah, I noticed that there’s no audio for a few seconds around then. Poor videography on my part.

Looks great Tom! Don't be so hard on yourself on the audio. Thanks for sharing. It reminds me that I have to get back onto some more of my mods...

Thanks Jeff.

I need to make sure my kids do the filming from now on so I can focus on the mods [emoji1787][emoji23][emoji1787]

Looking forward to seeing some of your work. Actually some more of anyone’s work. Seems like all the possible mods have already been done and the newer models have the mods included from the factory.

DW got tired of the frosted glass on the pantry door. She never really like that you could “see” the drawers through the glass. Plus, we’ve had stuff fall off the shelves scratching the frosted finish.

So I simply spray painted the back side of the glass black.

DW likes it so now I need to paint the top pane and the bedroom door

This is a little off topic, but I’m wondering if anyone has come up with a mod to add a light either above, in, or near the main control panel. When it’s dark outside and come into the RV there’s no light directly overhead nor is there a light switch by the door like in most RV’s and homes. So unless you can memorize every switch position via Braille you need to put a small flashlight in the cabinet or use the LCI panel. Just curious. I’m sure they didn’t put one there because the LCI panel is close by, but I’m old fashioned and I’d like to hit a light switch when I come in out of the dark.

I did Magnolia’s mod, with a slightly different led light also from Lowe’s. (It’s what they had). I also added a very small rocker switch down at the very bottom of the panel (right below the top plastic switch panel). It only draws 4 watts so when plugged in to shore power, it will be on all the time. The one frustration is that there is such a jumble of wires back there that they partially block the light transmission to some of the lower switches. But it does look cool with the Jayco bird logo all lit up - even through the glass door!

Nice job on the lights and paint Tom. I've been hauling around two rolls of led lights I purchased 2 years ago. Maybe one day I get around to doing something with them.

Hey, Folks! I've been reading all the reports and watching all the YouTube vids on the wet-bolt mod and the disc brake mod on the 377. Planning on doing these, and possibly combining project with the new Morryde steps, as this would allow the brake actuator to go in the space that the old fold-up steps were previously located.

While I'm SURE that I'll have questions for many of you, as my plans progress, one questions jumps out at me now.... If I do this as "one big project", can I pull all four wheels (jacking individual axle points) and have the unit stay stable on the jacks for the time that it takes to get the work done? I've camped in sloped sites, so bad that the jacks have lifted one pair of wheels right off the ground, but why all the "extra" portable jacks and shoring if the trailer is stable on the factory jacks?

Just trying to figure out my scope of work, so thank you for any guidance....

Fire instructor

When I did mine, I used the ground control jacks to hold the trailer up but I only did one side at a time and I used floor jacks under the axles. Unless you have a couple guys helping you, I don’t see taking all wheels off at the same time would make it any faster or easier. Also, I would feel uneasy about the trailer being completely suspended in air by only the leveling system. I was nervous enough with one side.

I guess I was only looking to have all four tires off at the same time for ease in bleeding, but that really shouldn't be much of a problem with them on, if I had to.... Thank you for the info.
