Actually, I think I like this better. It'll keep the door more open and away from the propane door. https://www.amazon.com/RV-Trailer-DE...=rv+door+catch

About to get a new Dometic 310 toilet. Anyone know what color is original to the 377? Is the toilet made by dometic? Looking at pics online, the bone color looks really tan but our original is a very, very light bone. Almost white. Sink and shower have the same coloring which isn't a bright white but certainly not tan (bone). My experiences with bath fixtures in the past, almond was tan, bone was cream color, and white was bright white. Any thought?

That's a hard one! I just got the oxygenics shower head from Amazon and ordered white. I thought it was going to be too much of a bright white, but I went out to the RV today and it exactly matches the factory shower head. I can't really see a difference in the color and the most impressive factor should be that the DW couldn't distinguish a difference!

My original Toilet is a Thetford Aqua Magic Style 2 in Bone. Pictures are always deceiving.
I would LOVE to switch it out, but the wife says no need. And apparently I'm too far behind on my wife's list of Tom's mods to get one of mine.

Thanks. For the insight. I finally found the thetford manual in my trailer. I wanted the dometic 320 because it is a residential sized toilet with elongated bowl and wooden seat. But further investigation reveals I only have 10" of space from back wall to drain. Dometic requires 11".
Funny about the wife's demands. Sounds like mine. [emoji3]

Thinking about installing those strong arms on the front jack of our trailer.
What model did you used ?
Did it make a real difference ? When I look how short the legs need to be out when the trailer is on a level ground.

I used the ones for 58" or wider. It does make a big difference. I also use x-chocks and the rig is really stable.
I think they make a fifth wheel specific kit now. I took mine off a previous trailer that did not have the ground control leveling system so I did not install the rear JT strong arms.

Thanks Tom,
I have to check for the X-Chocks, my wheels are so close I'm not even sure it fit on it.
The last time I measured I have 1 1/4 inch between the wheels at they largest diameter.

My Roto Chocks are too big for the wheel spacing. (I can't believe they went out of business)
So I went back to the old reliables.
I was camped on a site with a slight grade backwards and when hooking up, the old reliables weren't so reliable.
Trailer kept going about 4'. The one chock shot out over to the next site.
I miss my Roto's

Yupe that append to me too, well without the flying part to the other site
For the strong Arm when I check Here looks like it come as a full kit for the front and the back even that we don't really have the back stabilizer, stuff that I really miss from my old 5th wheel it was helping keeping the rig stable as crazy. Probably one of the next mods on my list....

Ouch. Klassic, is there a Harbor Freight near you? If not you could order online their heavy duty rubber chocks. They are a lot better than the plastic ones.

That's funny, because after it happened I was thinking of what to do, instead of standing there watching it continue to roll backwards.
I thought if it happens again then I should pull the break cable. Then I thought, wait a minute...what's that going to do. Lol 😂
