I think they could be better. I did that 20 MPH check a few weeks ago for Klassic, but when I brought it home yesterday I tried to lock the brakes by holding the slider on the brake control and they wouldn't. I has trying to activate my slider on the hitch (just to test it was functioning properly). I couldn't get the brakes to hold to test the slider.

Yes I have since first day....waited 3 weeks for a service appointment, had to leave 5th wheel. Ask them to check brakes/ everything good NO problems. I said can you adjust them? We don't do that here....is what I was told.
RV sat there for a month, they repaired I think 1 out of 10 items.
I called and told them I was coming to get it.
I will NEVER go back to that dealer.

Sounds like you have grease on the brakes too. [emoji30]

I sent an email to the dealer. Actually to the owner of the dealership. Hopefully he will get me fixed up. Especially since I've purchased multiple trailers from them.

I'm not saying my dealer has a good service department but they have gotten A LOT better. The new service manager (who did not come from an RV background) has made a world of difference. The techs still leave a lot to be desired but the service manager checks everything before it leaves, he calls back the same day, and he is very courteous.

Well...I've had one of these days:
I took all 4 wheels and drums off to take a look (A huge thanks to my neighbor for the help!). No grease whatsoever! So I can't figure it out...The old 2500 did great, but the new 3500 braking feels worse. So I get in the truck and start messing with the computer. The brake controller on the new TV was set to light electric! I switch to heavy electric and tow it around the block...now I have brakes. I probably need to add this to the bonehead thread!

I haven't had time to do the shoe shelf in the bunkhouse, so I'll do that tomorrow, but at least I have brakes now!

That's great news Dan. Keep an eye on those brakes. Mine were fine at first. Your trailer is not much newer than mine.

I have to laugh Danno!

Can you do the 20mph test again?
I thought you were quite high. I figured 50' would be about the number when a controller is maxed out.

I would like a base line to go from if I find out there was no change with my new
brakes.

fridge inverter issues

Hi guys I just bought a 2016 377 and got it home i am trying to figure out how to get the residential fridge to run off the batteries. I push the green button on the inverter and am not plugged into shore power, but the fridge lights do not come on. Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Is there any tips or steps I might be missing?

Thanks

Is the fridge coming on? How about the control panel on the front of the fridge? How many volts is the inverter showing from the battery?

I had one of the batteries looks like was overfilled and lost some fluid on transport home but cleaned it up and recharged and checked the battery and it tested good. i put it back in tonight and hooked them back up and turned inverter on again and i believe it said 12.4 which seems to be awfully low. so maybe i need to charge both batteries before the fridge will work. The guy i bought it from said all you have to do is turn green button on and fride lights should come on and you can set your settings is this correct?

My voltage on two 12 volt batteries usually shows 13.1 or 13.2 volts on a full charge. I think you might have a battery issue.
