Never stayed at Topsail but was there visiting a buddy. Nice place and Fl has some sweet spots. Check out St Joseph Pennesular State Park. They have two camp grounds and one is close to Beach. Boardwalk over the dunes to beautiful beach. Cannot wait to move to Mexico Beach that place is just off shore and super boating

So I had a little free time today at the CG. Decided to use some leftover tile from kitchen remodel to install in the bathroom.

After about 20 minutes of work, this is the result

Looks great. Is that the tiles with the adhesive backing, and if so what brand was it. Lowes used to carry similar and I had done our last rig with the stainless steel tiles. Now I can't remember the brand name. The color you used would match ours decent I think.

Not sure why the 3 lowes I shop quit carrying those. Guess I'll have to check elsewhere.

John, if the other Lowes stores still carry them they will ship to your local store for free.

Thanks, Dan. I did find them at Lowes online after searching for what Tom posted. The backsplash was on the long list of things to do among other things. Just glad I can still get the tiles. Too easy not to do. You'd think as many people that have done this, it'd become another standard in these rigs.

I think my lowes stopped carrying them too. I haven't seen any there lately

Go figure. Something cool that people like they quit carrying. I think it's a great product.

X2. What a difference that made. Showed DW and was told to add to my mod list. That would look real good in both my bathrooms. Do you guys have the tile between ur stove and convection microwave?

Cannot wait to lv the park and move to new house. With just about all tools in storage even simple things become a project. As much as I run to lowes for stuff u would think I am living in house

Thanks! Yes we have the same tile on the kitchen backsplash. I had some leftover from when I remodeled the kitchen so I decided to use it in the bathroom as well.
Really the only tools you need is a razor knife and straight edge. Maybe a tape measure but I didn't need one

You must use a hammer to remove the bolts once the nut is removed as bolts are press fit into the plates.

I would probably use extra bracing/blocking/cribbing if the trailer wasn't on a level concrete slab.

Good luck with yours!
Check your brakes for grease while you're at it. Especially if you feel you don't have enough stopping power.

Tom,

Did you actually use the rear leveling jacks to get the tires off the ground? I know you are not suppose to use them for that purpose. But once you get it level, I don't see how it would hurt to extend both rear jacks together to get it in the air and then block the frame in several spots on both sides. Then lower it a tad to get the weight distributed on the blocks and not totally on the jacks.

We use the front jacks to raise the front all the time but of course I know there is alot less weight up front.

Just wondering what you did.

Thanks
