The other thing with the combo units......you don't need hardly any detergent. They even suggest to try washing without it.

Hang on thou......get ready for some shaking!!

Is that something like if the trailers a rockin, don't come a knockin??

That statement (at least for me) would be unless you want to fold laundry!

Great question! I've been curious about what people are doing, but just haven't taken the time to ask on the forum. When I checked out a unit on the lot, before ordering, I was pretty reluctant about purchasing because there are gaping holes everywhere for rodents. But, after looking over different fifth wheel units from other manufacturer's - they're pretty much all the same. On my current bumper pull, I used a dozen cans of spray foam and bags of steel wool to fill every nook and cranny I could find - but it didn't have HUGE holes that a family of squirrels could easily fit thru! My property is heavily wooded so I am constantly battling mice and always have traps set just in case. It doesn't take any time at all for a mouse to do a lot of damage inside the coach, let alone in the enclosed underbelly. Interesting topic and thanks for posting the question!

Let it shake, then come outside with a smile on your face. The neighbors (and rabbits) will be jealous.

I just bought some thin Aluminum sheeting from Home Depot I'm going to bend and screw around it. I'm afraid to spray foam them completely in, in case I ever have to replace the jack.

In case some of you need the info on the back seal used on the hub...

Mine is written GS-2250DL made by TRP

Grease double seal hub

A 2$ well invested everytime to keep our brake clean.

Thierry

Where were you able to purchase these from?

Any idea what the original part numbers are that everybody is having problems with?

Tom/Dan,

For the cubby hole, is that a single panel that you can just knockout or did you have to cut around the trim to remove it?
Gonna get this one added this weekend.
Thanks

Jamie

It's just a single panel stapled in. Just push it in and it'll come loose.

I just used a rubber mallet on the corners and it came right out. Just make sure that you remove all the staples.
