Did u made brackets up & screw to the frame? I have stainless brackets from old trailer that just aren't fitting the way I like.

I used some metal straps (actually used hurricane straps) bent to fit and screwed with self tapping screws into the frame

Thanks Tom.
I had to cut my plastic posts down, my Open Range was wider than the 377.
I'll probably finish installing tomorrow.

Bathroom faucet took almost 10 mins.. Kitchen faucet a little different. We bought a Delta that had the 3/8 compression fittings on it which are not compatible with the original fittings.

Tom - do you recall what you purchased to make the kitchen faucet work?

If yours is like mine, your water lines under the sink have the female screw on fitting on the ends of the water lines. You have 2 choices:

Cut off the ends and install shut off valves in their place. Use can get shark bites so you don't need a crimp tool for the pex line. Then install water lines from faucet to shut offs.

Get a brass adapter with one end fitting in the factory water line connections and the other end that fits the faucet water lines.

I did the brass adapter route because I had the fittings already laying around the garage.

Yes mine are the female ends but will need a reducer to get down to the size of the new faucet end. I will debate about how to proceed as I would like to have valves.

Thanks

Tom - You get yours back from the dealership yet? I got the call today that they were pulling it into the shop today to start on mine...nothing like waiting until the last minute. I told them that I have to have it back by next Thursday, as the oldest daughter's birthday party is next weekend. They guaranteed me it would be done.

Negative Dan

Still at the dealer waiting to get looked at/worked on. Promised to be ready by the 16th as we have a trip scheduled the weekend after Mother's Day.

I would not survive being without my trailer for that long. We camp year round in Texas so that would totally make me go loco

Still think we should go to Big John D in Louisiana.
I know he can get to us sooner than any of the dealers and it will be done RIGHT.

I modified my old brackets & hung both holders from old trailer, had bunk house model so I had extra hoses. Both worked out well in the area that u used. The left one looks a little crooked but it just the end cap. Thanks for ur info .

First mod was a small one. Moving the batteries sideways and reposition the straps.

I got my heavy duty shackles and wet bolts along with the X-Factor cross member installed today. Thanks for all the info, tips, and advice from you guys. The install went smooth and only took about 4 hours. Here is a picture of the nylon bushings which defiantly show plenty of wear with only 2700 miles logged on it....

When I pulled the wheels off I had grease from the bearings on them. So now I am thinking I should take it in for the brakes. Is this the what you guys have been seeing that makes you all concerned about the brakes and seals?

Thanks
