Jack

I'm in agreement (or as some folks in Texas say, "agree-ance ") with Klassic. I think you may have some contaminated brakes.

Klassic
U remember my brake woes on delievery totally fried and melted. Everything replaced new. Broke in and worked great. Now u can barely feel them. Cut all splices and checked volts and amps and all were good. It seems like seals must of put grease on brakes. I am at my new site until Oct when I take it to the factory. U know I have the tire hitting the inside slide every so often. I am gonna have them dissemble the entire suspension and find why that happens. They can than replace the brakes again or update to disc which I will pay for. I had drums on boats for years and until salt froze them they would stop. The replacement brakes worked fine until now. I always used timkin bearings and matching double lip grease seals and never had a grease issue. So now it is either grease or magnet issue. They can deal with it under warranty once again

I guess I need to talk with Jayco again and see what they tell me this time.
I should have went back inside yesterday and told them the brakes still did NOT work correctly, but after driving 2 hours again I was not in the mood........

Have them check all four wheels. If you recall, when I was having my issues, I only checked one wheel on each side. Then, months later when I installed the wet bolts, I discovered I had contaminated brakes on the wheels I hadn't checked the first time.

Like I said before, the one time backing in a camp site & I jacked trailer pretty hard and all of a sudden it was like truck almost didn't have power to move trailer.
Breakaway pin came out.
BTW it is a PITA to put breakaway pin back in when trailer is in this position......LOL

Have you tried that going forward?
I could still easily pull mine with the pin out.

Very decorative and looks great, Pappyt2. It looks like they have a wheel to close a damper, is that correct? Also a better guard for objects falling in. Last Nov. I replaced all five on my 377 with identicals by JR Products on Amazon that came with a damper. Credit goes to Hoojs12840 post#127. Don't know why Jayco couldn't have included dampers in their registers?

Other than being too cheap? Mayhap to prevent some idiot closing off too many of them, creating enough flow resistance to allow the heat exchanger in the furnace to overheat, causing damage or even a fire.

Guys/gals - check your bolts on the arms that swing out under the slides. Dumped gray tank and saw the bolt missing its nut. Ran up to hardware store and got a new nut and lock washer. All my other bolts were still there...I just tightened them all up. Pics are from under the bunk room slide.

Perhaps, that might be their thinking for the long run. Me, I just don't want any debris falling down during the long summers.

My latest mod...

Last trip out the DW had to take the dog out late at night. All the lights were off and she couldn't see which switch to turn on in the control panel without turning on the hallway light which would have disturbed the DD in the loft. So, I thought I'd get a light to illuminate the control panel. But, after some investigation, I found you can actually back light the panel.

Here is what I started with. Got it from Lowes. Same lights that I have on the steps. I was going to mount it on the cabinet rail over the panel shining down on the switches.

http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/at...4&d=1500564620

Next I opened up the panel to reveal the birds nest of wiring. I added a switch to one of the blank spaces labeled tank heater and wired in the light.

http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/at...1&d=1500564777

Here it is put back together with all the lights off and the panel illuminated from behind.

Sorry the the goofy format...I usually post on my phone, and I am not used to doing it on the computer

I'm sure this will be the next item Jayco adds to their 2019 models, seems like all the best ideas that this forum comes up with gets added within a year or two.

No kidding...If i would have only waited for a 2018, I could have saved myself a lot of work!

It's exactly why I waited for an '18, and waited just long enough that they are putting on the normal steps and not the morryde steps. Not sure why they only made it a "hidden option", wonder what else is a hidden option.

I was all set to buy a late '17 model until I toured the Jayco plant and that day they happened to be building the '18 377RLBH. As soon as the tour was done I called my dealer and had them switch to an '18 on-order.

21 days and counting until it's completed.
