Texas is one of the last States I would ever live in. I lived there for four years. It was the longest and worst decade of my life.

Bunkhouse door replacement
As a refresher, I mentioned in the past that our bunkhouse doors have plagued us by falling off the track and rollers time and again over the miles. Weighing 26 lbs each, I thought that is 52 lbs of dead weight, plus the headache of re-attaching with longer screws. But even the studs jar loose on rough roads. These doors and its hardware are simply losers. We knew we wanted a simple lightweight curtain that would suffice light and privacy, forget about sound. We first thought about a shower curtain, rod, and rings, but most of these curtains are see through. We found in the Home area at Walmart a nice solution, a 42"x82" Black Out Panel. Several colors and patterns to choose from. I wanted Expresso, our main color theme, but the DW said NO! What!? She decided she liked the Samara Pewter. I just shook my head.
Got home, opened it up and went to work. The 42" width is perfect. The length, for now, I just folded up 9" and hemmed with straight pins. Now it looks like its meant to have floor pockets. Since the 4 stock track and rollers are paid for, yet can't be removed, I thought why not use these? With an exacto knife, I made four 13" spaced 1/8" straight cuts, used a small screwdriver to punch through a round opening and carefully, yet tedious work to insert the threaded roller studs. In my tote bag of tricks, I had 4 1/4-20 nuts and 8 washers and sandwiched the material so to not pull out. Screwed them in up as far as possible. It's a significantly tight fit, and not coming loose anytime soon. I removed the track stops, except for one to use on the right side seen from inside bunk house. It's preference.
All in all, I'm quite pleased. The look from the kitchen kinda matches the stainless refer. So the DW knew what she was doing. I'm impressed. It does muffle the sound a little, which is surprising.

That's a nice solution. Unfortunately for me, my kids like the doors [emoji22]

Thanks everyone for the AC duct tape mod. Just completed it...only took about an hour. Also found the diverter in the master bedroom AC unit partially blocked the vents. Fixed that as well.
Always great info form this group!

Summit, I am a bit confused by your post. I have a 377 also and have a ducted living room A/C and a ceiling mounted 15k "LoPro" A/C in bedroom. Is this the same as yours? When I read of others getting airflow throughout the coach with just the bedroom A/C, I wonder how that is?

Springhook,. Sounds exactly the same as mine. The only actual flexible duct tube I have is to the bunk room. All the others have the same plastics rings that are mentioned in the post. The 2 AC units have more of a plenum than flex tubes. I removed all the plastic, used the silver tape in all the openings. Quite a difference. I also found the exact problem in the bedroom AC diverter. Only thing left for me is to remove the panel in the loft and fix that duct.

Summit, what was involved in fixing the bedroom diverter?

I saw the diverter issue as soon as I pulled the filters. I just removed the outer cover - 4 screws and then the inner plate - another 4 screws. The diverter was almost completely across the opening. I removed it... nothing holding it but pressure. Realigned to the correct spot. I used 2 new screws and silver tape to put it in place. Then reassebled the out covers. Whole process took about 10 minutes..

Mine did the exact same thing. Had one small piece of tape holding it in place. Just put some extra tape on it.

Things like this just really get to me. When you find things like this that you can see makes you really wonder how many bad things there are you can't see. That is the main reason I don't like not having access to the main A/C.

I absolutely agree. Something as simple as 2 screws, maybe an L bracket, or even some tape would take care of this issue. Since I fixed it, the AC runs more effeciently and much quieter. It dropped my bedroom temp for 80 to 73 in less than 5 minutes

Lol. I'm sorry Dan. I couldn't resist. We'll be having a full house (daughter, 2 granddaughters) come next Sunday for two weeks on our 1300 mi journey to Casper WY, for the eclipse and back to Ft Wayne. I'll be the only guy on board. Hopefully the curtain will meet their approval. The sheer weight of the doors and 4 screws ea to hold, I had stripped screws. Put longer ones in and the pressboard material kept separating. We already removed the sofa ottoman. Another 38 lbs that's mostly in the way for us. 90 lbs altogether. Curtain is just 2 lbs.

I've got an idea for this entire "mods to 377" thread, but NO WHERE near the time to do it.....
There are several DOZEN fantastic discussions within this thread, that ALL 377 owners can benefit greatly from, but I'm sure that many of you (like me) have seen one, not gotten to it right away, and then been unable to find it in the mere 142 pages that we are up to. So here's my suggestion:
We build an "index", where the post number of the first post (or later significant contributions to that post) can be listed. This index could become the first post of the "Mods to 377" thread, if Magnolia Tom was to consent and modify his first post. This would allow a new participant to scan the list for mods that they might be interested in, and it would allow those of us who can't remember what they had for breakfast find posts that we had a previous interest in.... Does it sound like it would work? Does anyone have the time to go back through and ID the first post for the significant mod suggestions?

Here's an idea of what I was thinking would look like..... Since I started it, I'll keep plugging away at it. Let me know if you think that I'm wasting my time.....
“Mods To 377 RLBH” Index
"Back" to the bunk closet to separate it from the entry side closet - #1
Wire TVs to the inverter for use w/o shore power - #5
Struts for the overhead cabinet doors - #21
Faucet Replacement - #24
Install Dyson 6V vacuum - #32
Install EMS 50 surge protector - #33
Wall-mounted light switch for the bunk room - #52

I don't have a 377. But the "mods to 377" have been a great help to my 315. If it's ok I'll hang-a-round.
Thanks goes out to you Tom and all the rest.
Keep on modding
