Glad to hear it's finally getting fixed. Let us know how it turns out. I truly hope it gets fixed the right way, permanent. My repair is doing great. Very thankful we got Jayco to fix it. However I just put two new stress cracks both sides of the cove in the lower nose cap, above the king pin, wedging our cedar name plate where it fit perfectly in front of the LED lights. I should've known better as a carpenter, that wood expands, even though it was sealed. Now I have to hang it from our other cedar plate, "Have Newtonian will travel". That's our big telescope I keep in the basement.

Are you going to fix the new cracks yourself? That really stinks that your sign caused the cracks. Sorry to hear that.

I hopefully will be getting my trailer back today. Only about a month later than I was supposed to get it back.

I finally got around to doing the air vent mod. Definitely more air flow. I left one collar up and turned the a/c on and out my hand up to both. Way more airflow out the vent with no collar.

Hey Tom, looking to do this mod! Did you build your own system or purchase the unit and just install? Would love to copy whatever you did!

This was built from items I got at HD or Lowe’s.
Get a PVC post cover and caps. They come in white but I painted mine black. Then get a 4” gutter as the “slide”. You can also use it to support the sewer hose when hooked up. You can buy the end caps for the gutter and attach a handle to it if you like. I used hurricane straps to attach it to the frame. All told, you’re looking at around $35-$40 and about 30 minutes to do this.

Made a new sign holder today. I put a solar light on top of it. I got all the parts from Lowes.

Just need to decide what kind of base to put it on. Probably a piece of cedar.

Didn’t want the extra weight. Plus, this way I can store the base separately from the pole.
