I haven't spent any time in the loft but my kids haven't complained. We did have to adjust the vent when the heat pump was running so a little less heat was blowing in them.

klassic,
During our evaluation of various units, we did focus on the loft and air circulation. With the window, the ceiling A/C vent and the crank-up ceiling vent we thought it would be a workable situation. In addition, you could, if necessary, put a small portable fan put there and clamp it to the railing. There is no fan in the crank-up vent and Jayco will not install one. If added aftermarket you would need to fish a wired over to it for power.
Just my opinion. Cheers

This past weekend, my daughter did say she was a little hot up there with the heat pump running. We closed the vent and opened up the ceiling vent and she never complained again.

I may have to stop by and take a look at all your handy work on your rig in the near future.
I have threatened to do the same with BigJohnD, as well.
Thanks for sharing and look forward to meeting a fellow Texas camper.

Your parallam block must have some weight to it.

It's not too heavy. Prob 5-6 pounds. The block wasn't that heavy until I added the two layers of 1 1/8" plywood.

Actually, not too bad. Just take your time and be sure to read the instructions. Our landing jacks are pretty far apart do you will use 30" as your dimension to mount the mounting brackets. Other than that, if you plan on installing them on the rear, you will need some special hardware.

Hey! Have any of the 377RLBH owners installed a Fan-Tastic Vent UltraBreeze cover over the vent in the main living area? I bought three MaxxAir II covers , and tried to install them today. The bathroom vent cover and the loft vent cover went on flawlessly, but when I started to figure out how tom install on the electrically-opened Fan-Tastic Vent, I realized that it would jam against the MaxxAir cover, and likely burn out the motor.
I'm hesitant to "trust" the rain sensor feature, and I KNOW, that I'll go out and forget to close the cover, so I want to put the proper cover on it. I've only ever used the MaxxAir's on my TT's, so I'm just wondering what others's have done with this vent?
Thank you for any input!

I installed the Fantastic Fan vent covers over both fans and the Maxair II on the vent in the loft. No problems. The fan works well with it.

Thank you, Sir! It get a "smoked" one, to match the MaxxAir II's that I already installed, is a bit pricey, but it is what it is! Guess I'll get it ordered!

Ordered. Found a smoke tinted one on Amazon for $73 with no shipping cost! Much better than the $119 that PPL wanted, with shipping...

Fantastic vent will stall against the maxair II when opened. Won't burn up motor I don't think. Would have to contact Fantastic fan to be for sure.

Converter
Have any of you guys considered upgrading the converter or does the stock converter hold its own well? Looking to maximize efficiency, because in the fall I will be a dry camper on a 2 week rotation for 5 months. Thanks.

Not sure that I understand what you are asking.... The converter failing could happen whether dry coming or not. If plugged in to a 120v supply, none of your 12v will work in the converter fails (once the battery goes dead), and if being supplied by generator, the same could happen.
