Maybe I'll just remove old steps and just drive in the right lane all the time so no one can see the big hole there. LOL

If anyone asks tell ‘em it’s a tornado shelter. You could start a new trend.

Between road trips, we keep our 377 at a seasonal site, and have friends down on the weekends. With an expandable pole and three black out curtains from amazon, I can convert the living room to a “bedroom”:

The TV counter can act as a storage area for guests with the TV down, so that motivated me to finally move my sound bar from the counter top to the area above the fireplace. I pried off the decorative panel, held on by thin staples, lowered down the bottom panel to create a gap, mounted the sound bar on two angle brackets, and stained two pieces of wood to fill in the gaps on either end.

Stain that seems to match 2018 interior is “espresso”, by the way.

Sound bar looks good. I can't believe you didn't like the Furrion tv speakers. Where did you get the expandable rod. I might have to do that for our July trip with two girls and two boys. Just kidding about the furrion speakers. Sound bar is a must have.

Pole here, I put a rubber cap on the pointy end:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Curtains here:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

TV speakers: at first the TV would only play through the integrated, rear firing speakers. First movie we watched had the volume cranked up so high that it actually was louder outside the coach on that side than inside!

I did a hard reset on the head unit and finally got the ceiling speakers to play, but everyone here raved about their sound bars, so I said what the heck and bought a well reviewed refurb Samsung unit off amazon.

Wow. I had no idea sound bars could sound that good. I have a high end built in home theater system at home, so never had a need for a sound bar. Truly impressed, especially with the Bluetooth sub behind the theater seats.

As an aside, are your guests comfortable on the LR couch. We will be travelling with another couple for about a month and am wondering how they'd be more comfortable. When either couch is open, the seat cushions are high at the foot. Considering suggesting they sleep with their head to the foot of the bed. What do you think?

The fold out bed as delivered isn’t level, so that’s the first thing I did. About 1.5” shims at the rear, and redrilled the pin mount hole higher on the left front fold out leg (the one that rests on the carpet when lowered).

We also use a foam topper going widthwise on the low cushions (folded down back) and a queen size topper that covers the whole shebang.

Guests seem happy (or maybe they’re being kind).

Toppers roll up and store inside the sofa when not in use.

Seriously...looks really good! Nice craftsmanship!

Dan I finally got around to ordering the steps for you. They were quite a bit more expensive than they were before. Could only find 1 place that would ship them COD, guess that's probably the reason.

They said it would be around 800.00 for you........... should be at your house any day now.

Enjoy!!

Nice job Cannon. This is a very useful mod for the kitchen island. My DW asked for this not too long after we bought and I had access to a skil and jig saw while at a resort in south TX before Christmas 2016. I failed to post it at that time. Check out my post #1516 on pg 152 from 8/29/17. Seems the mod index on pg 1 stopped short of this and many others. Fire Instructor compiled the index last year on Magnolia Tom’s first post and the Site Master has the keys to edit but as you can imagine a full time secretary is needed to keep up with these wonderful mods.
