Molding coming loose.

Molding is coming loose from fiberglass and metal skirting all around trailer.
Has anyone had this problem before and what did you do?

Are you talking about the little piece of plastic strip that covers the screw holes?

What model and year 5'ver?

Any pictures you can share?

No, the metal strips that separate the fiberglass and metal skirt on the bottom portion of trailer.

I just saw, on another blog, about a guy who had water infiltration at that seam because it had not been re-caulked. Water got into the slide out floor and caused some wood rot...hopefully that's not what's going on with yours.

A picture would help.
I assume you are referring to the horizontal piece of trim that covers the seam between the outside walls and the metal trim that makes the bottom of the trailer look "nice".
If so, then yes, I have seen it on my trailer. AFAIK it is caused by differences in the expansion rates of the filon, the trim, and the metal skirt. I heard of someone on this forum who purchased some wider trim and completely covered the piece that the trailer comes with.
