More ? about the Eagle HT 29'5
How many of you have the Reese revolution pin box and the B&W hitch.
And who has the Auto level....
I have not been on here long and I've already learned about a few things I want on my FW.
Thank you everyone..

My Fifth is smaller, but I have the Revolution. Search my user name for detailed prior opinions on the good and the bad. Generally, I like it very much.
Note, however, B&W will not honor your warranty if you use a Revolution. Their opinion is that its use has not been studied enough to verify that it does not contribute to failure of the hitching mechanisms. No other hitch company has issues with it. And variants (Sidewinder, Fifth Airborne) of it have been on the road for years now, with no reports of problems I am aware of. I went with a Reese hitch, to keep all the components within the "system" the manufacturer created. But they do say it is compatible with all hitches, so 'tis not really an important thing to do.

The Reese revolution pin box is definitely an option with a standard 5th wheel hitch for use in a short box.
I choose to go with the Mor-Ryde pin box and a PullRite SuperGlide hitch for my short bed.
There are Pros and Cons for both.
The Reese revolution does not have any cushion where as the Mor-Ryde does have cushion to absorb some of the bucking and chucking. The Con of the SuperGlide is it is heavy and requires a special capture plate. I installed an electric hoist in my garage to put the hitch in and out of the truck. When I have it out of the truck I set it on a dolly so I can roll it around and store out of the way.
It's all a matter of preference and $$$.

I have the Reese revolution with the 16k box in the bed. Its my first 5er, so I cant comment on what others may have. I do know towing a 5er is much better than a TT.

We have the same Ram 2500 TV as well, but we have the Mor/Ryde pin box and B&W Companion slider hitch. We have towed our 29.5 four times to campsites and have yet to use the slider feature. We can still get about 70 degrees on a turn, without the the nose cap touching the cab of the truck. We're golden, so far!

We have the Auto Level. What questions do you have?
We already had a Pullrite Superglide, so we got the Moryde pin box. Pullrite makes a capture plate that easily installs on the Moryde. If you have questions, let me know.

Clarification - there was another recent thread about the Revolution/Sidewinder where I made a cut-n-paste from the B&W website about not honoring the warranty. Others have since pointed out in that thread that B&W has assured them it would honor the warranty for their specific model. Please do your own homework to verify before assuming any of us are correct!

So far, so good. But we haven't camped yet......
Initial impressions are ok. Better than back and forth setting blocks under the tires. I'm concerned with how far down the rear hacks hang, but dealer tells me they haven't ever seen one get hit yet. It does what it is supposed to do. It had more features than what the dealer told me that I learned from reading the manual. The real test will be this summer. We always seem to end up in unlevel sites and I'll be curious if it will have enough travel to handle it.

You must get the same sites I do! Not a fan of blocks and planks under tires and all the bickering from dw. I just want to pull in and level, fingers crossed it was worth it.

I think one thing I can,say about the auto leveling is to do your zero calibration when you first pick it up. This way, you ensure the darn thing works without error.

We just don't end up having to level that often, just the opposite of some of the others. I left the system off of our order. I have to admit they look like they would drag going in and out of some campgrounds, gas stations, etc and I worried I'd be paying 2k+ for a headache!

We've been at a few sites where the ground has shifted after the initial leveling attempt causing us to have to pull everything and start from scratch, or maybe it is possible that DW may have misinterpreted the level and I hadn't learned to double check her assessment before placing boards

I have the Revolution and B&W Companion. Have the Revolution pinned so it works like normal hitch. Been told due to Companion w/ turnover ball having a single connection point it may have a tendency to twist. Works great as is. Love my B&W. Would prefer Moryde but trailer already had Revolution. Also have autolevel and love it.

I do hope the DW does not read your posts! You could be in for some uncomfortable camping!
