MORryde Independent Suspension

Has anybody installed this themselves? Will MORryde or dealers sell just the kit?
I didn't see any availability on the web, but there is a good size dealer network.

I don't think you can get it except thru a dealer. We had it done on our previous fifth wheel and took it to Elkhart. They did a tremendous job and it was a great improvement in the ride of the trailer and the truck. I watched some of the work being done and it certainly wasn't anything I would want to tackle.

I'd call MORryde and ask, never hurts. There used to be things we could order at Rallies that weren't in the catalog.

I know you are asking specifically about the MORryde Independent Suspension, but if you are looking for something you can install yourself, think about the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers. I had them installed on my fifth wheel when I upgraded to disk brakes. They might not be considered up to the same level as IS, but I have found they seem to ride as nice as my father-in-laws trailer with IS. We can leave our coffee maker on the counter of our unit and drive 6 hours without it jumping off the counter. Now, if your heart is set on the IS, I get it. Just ignore my post... :-)

I think they are two different worlds....The IS eliminates the springs which can fail, Shackles issues and strengths the frame to axle connection...IMHO

Their new conversion just bolts up to the shackle hangers, remove your leaf springs and bolt on and perform alignment. Dont see why it couldnt be installed by rv owner

Yes, my son and I did my 5th wheel last summer. There are a few YouTube videos out there that give you good step by step. If your handy, you can do it.
