Morryde Orbital Rubber Pin Box

This post is not intended to stir up debate regarding the use of the Andersen Ultimate FW Hitch and a Morryde rubber pin box. I am sold on the combination and appreciate all the good back and forth discussion (lol) from various posts on this forum.

This is my question. I am looking at a new attractively priced Eagle HT 25.5 that has the optional Morryde orbital rubber pin box. If I leave the two locking bolts that prevent the rear of the pin box from pivoting (and not use the wedge) can I assume the pin box will behave just like the Morryde non-orbital rubber pin box? Not having towed a FW before I want to make sure I’m not over looking something.

There is a wealth of information on this forum and I appreciate your comments in advance. Thanks

yes this is exactly how we use ours. I have never unlocked mine and it works perfect. We have a short bed F350 and a fixed B&W companion hitch towing a eagle HT 30.5 MBOK. The combination of a longer pin box, and rounded corners on the trailer make it nice to not have to have a sliding hitch.
