Motion light at stairs

How do you remove this light fixture? Going on and off constantly.

Easy fix is to put a piece of electrical tape over the motion eye.

My outside stair motion switch has an override on/off on the side, also has a sensitivity dial on the other side. if yours does not have those features i would switch it out to one you can get off Amazon for $12 bucks.

You have to drill through the black faceplate in all four corners. There's a screw in each corner. Drill just through the black plastic to expose the screws.

That black plate is SUPPOSED to pop off. But it'll tear the wall up. Then reinstall. Here's what I used.

But they are still junk. I'm currently looking for a different lamp to put there. These are just cheaply made.
