Did mine myself several Utube videos moved to rear bumper passenger side. Much better no need for green propane bottles anymore.

Our 2012 Jay Flight also has a copper line to the quick connect. We did go RV shopping in 2017, looked at the new 212qb floorplan trailer, and I noticed the outside connection was now at the rear bumper corner, and a rubber propane hose was used instead of copper line.

Rubber extension hoses are to be installed temporarily while the grill is being used. My grill came with a rubber hose, about 6’. I don’t like cooking behind my trailer. I purchased a 24’ extension, it is plug and play. It is not attached to my trailer permanently. I put it on my grill and the plug it into the quick connect. I disconnect the grill, and close the valve when I’m not using it. I prefer to use my grill in an open area away from the trailer. The FACTORY INSTALLED BLACK RUBBER PROPANE LINE from my propane tanks in the front are connected to, my refrigerator, hot water heater, gas stove and rear connect outlet. The underbelly of my trailer, Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS, is fully enclosed, the lines are protected.

I want to correct my last post. The rubber propane line on my Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS is not inside the enclosed part of the trailer. It is exposed front to back. It does appear to be a more durable line. I guess a leak in an enclosed section could be catastrophic. It’s probably a good idea to inspect occasionally.
