Moving the LCI 3.0 struts up

Is it possible to raise the LCI 3.0 without a lot of complications? It looks like I could raise mine one or two bolt holes up which would give me at least 1 or 2 more inches of ground clearance. I fear dragging the ground at some point and time. This would place the very top of the strut up against the outer floor covering. All I see on the top of the strut is a rubber cover. No moving parts etc. Or do I need that one or two inches to access the strut for some reason. Thanks for any advice.

I moved my rears up one notch and have not experienced any problems. I do use blocks under all of mine when leveling.

So nothing more than moving up? 4 bolts and that's it. No reprogramming? Simple?

That all mine was, just unbolt move up and bolt back up. I did this also on my voltage I had, but I did all six on the voltage.

Ok. Done. Friend and I did it in 45 minutes. Gained maybe an inch. But inches matter. Still will be careful in and out of places. Would have loved one more inch but could not get it. At least now I can get in my driveway without having to lay down boards to roll up on. Don't understand why it didn't come that way. But nothing surprises me about campers anymore. This is our second trip out in it and the longest (8 days) so really a shake down trip. Also our fourth one in the last 15 years, but our first 5th wheel. Thanks for the advice.

MLaffoon, on mine there is a rubber cover on the bottom of the motor. Remove this cover to insert a socket in order to manually lower/raise the leveler. Hopefully, yours is not on top under that cover. If so, you'll have a tough time if you need to manually lower/raise the leveler.

I will look. Even before I moved it it would have been impossible. Thanks.

Ok. I looked and the motors have a rubber piece on the bottom that you would remove in an emergency to manually crank the strut. Excellent info. Thanks everyone.
