That one looks different from any I have ever had. I would concentrate on lifting that tab on the cover to get it off then look for a few mounting screws. The only way to quiet mine is to remove 12vdc by removing a fuse in the dc panel or cutting a wire that comes into the unit. Usually there is a wire splice back there.
Google the numbers and get a replacement that fill the hole.
I have a portable backup that I can plug in an outlet until the new unit can be installed.
