Mystery pipe under sink. Anyone know what it's for?

My husband and I bought the new Eagle HT 31MB at the Tampa show. After we took delivery we found this very odd thing under the sink, and we were wondering if anyone knows what it's for? It looks like a pipe or support post was intended to connect there. Maybe it's a vent?

FYI, this photo is sideways, the light colored wood is actually the floor. I can't figure out why my photos only post in landscape on this forum. If anyone knows how to change that I'd love to hear!

Probably an air admitance valve for the drain.

Our roll up dish dryer was in it. You roll it up and it stands up in there.

I asked a tech at the dealer and he said, "Dunno". Maybe he was new.

Yes, we have the same thing- just a place to stow your roll-up dish drainer.

That pipe would work good for a Dehumidifier drain also.

Only if it is connected to the sewer system.

Please - Please do not use this for a drain. this is not a drain there is no outlet. It is for the metal strainer that goes to the sink. It rolls up and stands in there.

I wouldn't have figured that out until I was frustrated with trying to store the drainer and started to build one. With my luck I would have built it directly next to that one. LOL

LOL RedHorse1 - I was going to say a Mouse House - as I'm sure we've all fought to keep mice and other rodents out of our RV's, I figured Jayco had finally just given up and decided to make them a nice cozy place to rest :-).

So, on top of your sink you have a grate to wash vegetables or just to give you more counter space. This pipe is just there to store this grate when rolled.
I'd show you pics of my mine, but it's stored for the winter....-33 Celsius this morning... LOL
I removed the pipe to give me more under counter space. Pull on the pipe and you'll a screw.

Bye for now,

We have that in ours amd it is used to hold the metal sink cover when rolled up. Not sure if that is what yours is for but it is for our 33 ft
