Mystery screen door tabs
Anyone have any idea what these tabs are for? There on my screen door on a 2019 North Point 377RLBH. It looks like they could be used to add a plexiglass insert but there in the wrong place and have a gap which would make them useless as a holder. And it looks like the photo loaded sideways.

You can order the clear plastic window inserts. They are heavy clear vinyl in a frame.

Thanks Grumpy. I made my own on the last RV. I will probably again on this one. I will have to move the tabs from the sides to the top and bottom though for it to work.

The clips are for the heavy clear vinyl storm panels that can be ordered from the door manufacturer.
I had cut clear acrylic panels to fit over the screens but when I learned about the availability of the panel from the door manufacturer I ordered a set.
IMO looks 100% better
Sorry about the sideway pictures. Cannot figure out how to turn them.

Who was the door manufacturer you ordered from............I'm sure it must be the same one on my 2018 North Point.

Challenger Door in Indiana. There should be a label on the hinge edge of the outer door toward the bottom.

Yep. I had them in my SOB.
Came stock. I didn’t even know they were there for the first couple trips, until I stuck my face into the bottom one because the DW couldn’t hear me. That’s how clear they are.
I tried to get them from Challenger but their packaging and shipping rate to Canada was ridiculous.
I wish Jayco would have made them an option.

My Jayco Dealer, Hayes RV, ordered them for us. I also added a screen door metal guard for the inside to keep the wiener dogs from scratching it. I have recently found a pet door made for screen doors with a guard. Works great but I did mine leaving the vinyls in place so now can only remove the top section.

Thanks guys. I actually called Challenger Door and they had me email them a photo of the door tag. Hopefully I will know soon how much they cost to order.

I picked mine up at the Challenger factory this past June. The cost was $80.00

I honestly don't remember as I got them a couple months after getting the RV in 2011 . I don't think it was $50 cause I remember looking at a sheet of plastic & the ready made was cheaper.

I can't find a door tag.......the only tag on my door is inside the door at the top just above the shade that pull down........is that the tag?

Went to the local big box hardware store and purchased a section of Lexan. Cut it to fit and used the tabs on the door to secure it. Works great. Looks great.
