Mystery Switch

We recently bought a 2015 Eagle 34.5 BHTS 5th wheel. LOVE the trailer! One question that our dealer hasn't been able to answer (Great people & very honest, just not sure about this one). In the front storage area, above the city water connection & the front black/gray valves, there is a switch; dealer said it's for a water pump when dry camping. No water pressure anywhere with that switch. Don't know why you would need 2 switches (or pumps) to dry camp. Of course, the owner's manual is generic one size fits all literature, with no mention of that switch. Any ideas on what it does?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Our 2015 33.5 RETS has that same switch and it does indeed turn on the water pump. I believe it is there so if you want to use the "outside" faucet when dry camping but the pump is not on, you would not have to run inside to turn the pump on. When you are testing it, you do have water in the fresh water tank, correct? Just a thought.

It is for the water pump. It is in parallel with the switch up in the control center. Both have to be off, or either one on.

The switch will allow you to control the pump from the exterior when winterizing.

We have an 07 36RLTS and we have three switches for the pump. The main one with the other controls, a second one at the bathroom sink, and a third in the basement with the directional controls for water system. Once one is turned on the others won't turn it off. Have to find which one was turned on first. That's the only glitch I have noticed.
