I am attaching a picture of the auxiliary fuel tank/tool box in the back of my truck. The tank is 41 gals. plus the tool box on top. The truck has a standard bed so I had to buy one of RSDS' special tanks to have room for the companion hitch. It also shows my B&W Companion Hitch. I had a goose neck setup installed in the truck right after I bought it so I could pull the goose neck trailer I own. Through a little research I found that B&W made the companion hitch to fit down in the goose neck receiver which works great for me. I love that I can take it all out if I need to pull the goose neck trailer.

I just dropped my 321RSTS off at the body shop this morning to get the front cap stripped, primed, repainted, and decaled. The dealer is picking it up to do some warranty work since the body shop is just down the road from them. When I get it back I will take a picture of the whole set up and post it.
I love the set up of the 321RSTS. I have had multiple problems (Friday build I guess) that have had to be fixed but it seems to all be coming together.

That great, and yes please take a pics when you get it back I would to see it, you do have a nice setup. Now you have 61 gals of fuel on your truck and that is a relieve to know that you don't have to fuel up too often.

I see that you where in the Air Force, did you retired from there? I also hated when my 5th wheel goes to the shop I really don't like that but so far I have being fortunate thanks God because it run me crazy. Anyway take care and don't forget those pics.

Smile See if you still have shackle adjustment

Looks good,
We've got a 2019 321RSTS on a 2500 and had to raise the trailer on the shackles to get it level. Worked like a charm.

I wasn't in the Air Force, my son was. I am an Army brat (lol). Born and raised. Applied to the Air Force Academy and could have gone but they wouldn't let me be a pilot because in 1971 the height limit was 6'1". Decided against it.

Here is a picture of the front cap after it was redone. I'm real happy with it. It does look naked but considering some of the comments on this forum and the fact that the original decal was starting to fade and peel I decided not to have the decals put back on it.

Yeah that do look "NAKED" it to bad that you don't know a pretty good designer who is good with painting design like the do on these custom cars.

Big1 I have a B&W Companion 5th wheel. I already had a goose neck receiver in the bed and when I was looking for a FW I found out B&W made a fifth wheel hitch that fit into the goose neck receiver. It has worked great. I can take it out to use the goose neck trailer I have or just for extra bed room if I want to haul something in the bed.

My guess is 4 pucks for the 5th wheel and the 5th is the gooseneck hole. Gooseneck hole isn't a puck though, just a round hole.

Thanks, Earl. My goose neck receiver is square. My goose neck ball has a square bottom that slips in the receiver.

Rams are round for the goose ball. Nothing to prevent it from turning in the receiver. Never used it but must not be an issue as they had the design for many years now.

Earl,

Unless it is permanently installed I'm sure it has a locking pin to hold it in place like mine does. The only thing I can see is that the my square receiver would stand more stress than a round one. If the pin were to break the receiver would basically have to be ripped out.

Has a locking ball detent to keep it in the receiver hole. No pin. Nothing to keep it from rotating in the receiver. I have a B&W gooseneck Ram ball set for my Ram.

When I bought my new ram I was hoping that I will be able to use my same setup, I had the B&W gooseneck install in my old ram but when I got this one I couldn't use it

So I had to get another setup for my new ram so I got the one from B&W with the puck system I use it for the first time this week and it work good.

I also bought a gooseneck ball by Curt's for the middle hole so if I get a chance to hookup a gooseneck trailer I would have the ball for it.

Was the 3500 a night and day difference as far as towing from the 2500 you previously had.
