Looks like a nice place. Not many report on going from 3/4ton to 1 ton SRW with the same trailer, so it’s interesting to hear your feedback on that. Enjoy.

Canyonville OR, it's an Indian reservation it's supposed to be one of the best down the West Coast. They also have one of the best truck stop and a nice Casino.

It's about $55.00 it all depend but that is for most site, if you get a player card for the casino and if you are Military or Retired Military you can get that to come down even more.

It's a very nice place to come you about 60 miles from Medford, OR and about 70 miles North from Eugene, OR. It's going to be North from Grant Pass, we have been to Medford and Eugene to do some shopping we are here for 14 days.

Good to see you “scratch that itch” and go camping! The site looks great, and we hope you have a good time relaxing and getting used to your new rig!

Haven't seen a setup like that. Looks like your FW base is a lot larger than mine.

Yeah, you is probably like the one I had if was made by B&W gooseneck hitch so with the factory made gooseneck it's made different, it have the groove with the one that B&W made by putting a pin in the middle.

Yes. The ball has a rectangular base with a hole in it that the pin goes through.

Yeah, the one I had on my 2017 2500 were like that, that's why when I bought this one I had wonder if I could transfer it over but like you seen in the pics the one from B&W were made different from the factory so I had to buy the base of the B&W hitch, so now I have two base and one head.

I put the one I had which is a slider up on Craiglist and Offer Up but no taker, bummer now I have a hunk of metal laying around.

I believe the puck refers to the plug they use to cover the hole. there are five pucks on my Ram. I could be wrong.

Pucks are a type of hitch connection. That term has been around long before OEM pucks came about. Pucks have a unique shape. The Ram goose ball has a round hole. So the 5th wheel has the pucks. Ram should have 4 pucks and a goose hole.
I had a Reese puck system in my 07 Ram, no goose but they made a goose ball mount that would fit into the pucks.

The four outside holes are for mounting your fifth wheel hitch,(B&W, Anderson, etc.). The center hole is for the ball for the goose neck trailer. You would also use two of the smaller holes to mount the safety chain attachments, which you must use with a goose neck trailer.

Yes, that's it I never had this system before I'm learning all about it.
