We just picked up our first 5er, a Jayco Eagle 31.5FBHS with the front bunks and I had question regarding the carpet in the front bunk area. Is it normal for the carpet to be somewhat 'loose' where you can pull it up and down roughly an inch or so in the main walking area between both sets of bunks? I'm just used to carpet laying fairly tight similar to a residential install.
I have not noticed it on mine. But i did have the carpet start to come up in the kitchen area. I found that they used really tiny staples so i re-stapled it with 16ga 1in staples.
Rochhead, I finally got around to checking mine. Yes, I can "pinch" the carpet in the main walking area and lift it, however, it is tight. It is not "glued" to the floor, but just streched like in your home.
