I finally got word from the dealer that jayco has authorized the warranty replacement of my tablet it’s now on order so who knows when I’ll actually get it. In the meantime I thought I read on one of these threads that someone used a Lenovo tablet as a replacement I found one for $59 at Walmart and confirmed it had usb micro charger so I took a chance… didn’t work so well for me. The tablet was quite a bit smaller so it didn’t fit snugly in the frame and the charging port was in the center of the case which required twisting and bending the wires to connect it. I’m not going to try and cut/solder to make it work.
It does work as standalone so I’m planning to just leave it in the bedroom plugged in while camping and consider it as a backup should the next unit fail.

Thanks

Great discussion here.
For those that sourced a replacement tablet, which worked well for you (fit, performance, etc.), and did you use the downloadable app (android)?
I suspect this app is different than the OE version?
I reached out to BMPRO who punted my queries to Jayco service. I'm getting very basic novice responses from Jayco on this?
Thanks in advance friends.

Yes, BMPRO has not been very helpful. I was hoping to give them an earful at the Tampa show, but they are not here

There is no difference in the software from what you download from Google Playstore versus OEM except you'll get the latest version.
You'll want to check for updates couple times a year anyway.

They need to have manual backups on the slides because if the tablet dies you can open or close the slides

I'm not familiar with the various models but my Pinnacle has a set of buttons below the tablet that operate some or all of the lights (they turn on in groups), the water pump and a set of scroll buttons to select and operate the awnings and all 3 slides. While the tablet is convenient I can't think of anything on mine that can't be controlled by some other means.

What won't work without Tablet
You are correct you can do everything on your phone or and Tablet. With the exception of accessing the system via the internet. The gateway for internet access is the BMPRO tablet. The tablet controller connects to the internet and then via bluetooth via the node. Without the wall mounted tablet there is no connection when you are out of bluetooth range.

Where is the RVMaster node located - anyone know on a 357MDOK. I replaced tablet already and fuses are good - I have awning goes out but not back in, no bad noise on motor still quiet and if I reverse wires it goes back in. I assume not it is on the Master node since the switch is via an app? thoughts

The node is usually located in the basement behind the rear wall panel. I’ve heard of the internal (non replaceable) relays going bad which can cause this.

Thanks for the quick reply, I looked in basement nothing there I can see - could it be some place else. I took everything out as well as the enclosure to where all control valves are for the plumbing.

I have the 377, and that’s where Jayco put it on that model.

This is the best I have, it’s behind the panel where my low point valves are located

1. Launch the App on your phone.
2. Press and hold the “Pair” switch that is installed near your Controller for
at least 5 seconds. A spinning circular loading indicator will appear in the center of the screen and the pairing process will begin. This could take up to 30 seconds.
3. When pairing is successful, you will be taken to the App home screen and the
Bluetooth icon will be visible.

If you are saying that the AC doesn't show in on the controller, you may just need to add it:
