Question New Brake Adjustment?

I have a 2016 RSTS 28.5 and had a short in the front left side brake. Went to replace the magnet and that one is no longer made. Ended up buy one new brake assy. - backing plate, etc.
My question is once installed what type of break in/adjustment do I need to do? I only replace the one that was bad.
Thanks

I personally would do the initial install and adjustment, go on a camping adventure, and when back at the house I would adjust all the brakes. It's so easy to do.

These are self adjusting so what should I do?

Our Dexters have a break in procedure that involves something like breaking hard at 40 mph down to 20 mph, then repeating a bunch of times, letting them cool down in between.
Not sure of the exact details, but you can get them from your manufacturer.

Also, even though ours are supposedly self adjusting, (forward or reverse), the new ones did not self adjust, and next new brakes I will adjust manually, just to be sure.

(Edited for correct MPH info)

Even the Self Adjusting brakes require an initial adjustment at installation to your drum ID size. They have to be close for them to self adjust after that.
