New Jayco

Hi all. Been reading your forum for about 7 months.Started when we went to an RV show. I had absolutely no fear of buying anything as we were happy with our 2006 Newmar Torrey Pine. It was a great quality camper. Well, DW fell in love with a Jayco Pinnacle 36SSWS. Went back next day and bought it. Next we just had to go out and go through the factory. Great tour! At the end was a Pinnacle with full body paint. DW fell in love again. She didn't even get home and was on the phone to the dealer. She actually got them to cancel the order and start a new one. That was March. We are picking it up tomorrow! We hope that we are as happy as we have been with the Newmar. This will be our 4th FW. (Kit Companion, Keystone Sprinter) Cheers!

Similar thing happened to us. We were zeroing in on a Grand Designs rig, then one afternoon killing time at an RV dealer we stumbled in to the 36SSWS. The king bed with walk-around for two was the clincher. There are a few us on here and several with Pinnacles of other flavors as well.

Welcome, congrats, and holler if you need help!!

Newmar has had a name for quality. Don't know what path they've taken from 2006. Hopefully you'll be happy with the Pinnacle. Let us know how the presentation goes tomorrow. Have a great time!

Welcome to the forum! You will love your new Pinnacle. I tried to talk DW into the full body paint option but lost the battle! Which color scheme did you get? If you need good advice, ask Joan617............Angus & Joan have their 36SSWS tuned in!!

Welcome from Indiana! We have a 2016 Pinnacle 38FLSA and love it. Best decision we ever made!

Hi all. We picked it up. WOW! It is fantastic! The inspection went well. They only had to reset two slides. They full body paint (Sandstone) was worth it although pricey. It will probably be our last camper so worth it. There are so many bells and whistles that will take some time to figure out. Last night it took us 15 minutes to figure out how to turn the lower lights off around the island.(Don't laugh too loud) Look forward to talking with you all. Thanks to the post that told us about the upper slide door switch. Saved a call to the dealer! Take care and maybe see you out there.
