Great video, thanks Tom. I'm looking at the 3 step version for our TT. As a matter of fact it's already in the "save for later" portion of the cart on Amazon. Now I just have to go measure. Our main door has the gas strut that swings the door open and will have to be removed, never liked it that much anyway. Currently we're using a Camco step saver and it does ok but nothing like this.

We thought about these steps...really thought about them. What about packing up in the rain? How do you keep the water out? More towels laying around?

We keep a rug at our door entry, so I don't think this would be much of an issue. What I'm REALLY waiting for is a package deal with the Moryde steps, storage box and handle! Come on Amazon...make it happen!

They just feel extremely light when putting them up or down. Very easy to use. I like the solid feel that these give, over the bouncy steps.

Before you pull the trigger for the MorRide steps, check the Port-A-Step at Portable RV decks and steps. I have them and they are fabulous!!!

How far out do the Morryde steps go from the sidewall? Would love to install them, but concerned how far out they extend. We camp in a lot of state parks and don't always have a lot of room. Short of removing the mounting screws, they aren't a quick remove. If removed often, the screw holes will wear out.

FYI, I seem to have made the wrong assumption regarding new vs old design. The steps with the twist lock mechanism are the Lippert SoldSteps, and the counter weighted ones are the MORryde Step Above.
The Step Above win Hands Down.

I'm gonna pull the trigger on the 3 steps version after Christmas.
For those that bought the MORryde steps, where did you get them? Amazon or a local dealer?

How could this step allow anything but a very uneven situation since there would be zero way for it to fully deploy.
3' out from the side of my tires the incline was up approx 18" vertically.

If you have enough room to open a slide on the door side the steps will deploy. I also ran into a steep vertical incline outside my door. If it is steep enough to effect the MorRyde steps you would need blocking for a fold out step also. The only place I have found it a problem is if the area is too tight to open a slide.

Not sure if someone responded to you. If you have room to let your slide out. You have more than enough room for he steps.

After a little research, I found that the older models did come with the twist lock and newer models have the strut assist. However, you cannot buy the strut assist version. They come installed on new rigs from the factory but if you buy a set of the mod ryde steps, you will get the version with the twist lock mechanism. Kinda stinks because I wanted the strut assist version.
