New owner nightmare

We picked up our 16 pinnacle fbts on Tuesday of last week...so it's 5 days old. Our first issue was the leveling legs the first night, they didn't want to work properly, had to wait until Wednesday night for a tech to call us and tell us how to get them to reset, now we have only limited power even when hooked up to 50 amp plug. No slides will open on drivers side, no LED lights anywhere, ceiling fans work, frig. Works, no leveling legs, awnings work, ???? We are lost! It was fine yesterday, went back last night and boom! Any ideas anyone?

Start checking fuses and your main at the battery. Maybe when it was not operating correctly something blew out.

Also connections at the converter. There have been reports in the past of loose connections on new units.

As mentioned, check all fuses and all connections in the breaker panel.

Let us know if you find anything

Could be a bad converter then, but that`s just a Crabman guess.

Your description doesn't indicate you took the time to do a slow, time consuming, and thorough PDI before your took possession of your Pinnacle. My guess is that all of these items existed at the time of delivery. Unfortunately, this industry makes new owners pay a premium, one way or the other. Personally, I look forward to becoming part of the quality control process and am training myself accordingly.

Jaycos come with a year of Coach-Net support. Does that service cover problems like these?

I suspect the Coach-net coverage provided by Jayco is their limited plan but I don't know that for sure. Coach-net doesn't provide RV tech assist til the next level up which is Basic. Then the support provided is only verbal on the house. In other words they'll help you try to figure out the problem over the phone.
