After two years of warranty repairs for our North Point 5th wheel, test everything. The dealer rushed us through and we caught a few things, but we missed a lot of things. Little things like water not draining or grey water that goes into a black tank (still looking at this one). Blinds that don't go up or down smoothly, damage to window frames, doors that don't open or shut, every outlet, backup camera, check level, toilet leaks around the lever, etc.

2020 F-250 6.5' bed and 2021 29.5 BHDS. I use a B&W hitch along with the turning point hitch unlocked. Drives straight as an arrow and was commenting to the wife how stable it was the other day and how I was pleased that it seemed to "want" to return to center if there was a big wind gust.

There is zero chance I would go with a slider after having tried this setup. I love it. You should at least give it a try.

Thanks for the info. The Turning Point pin box sounds like it might work great for the 6.5’ bed. No slider hitch means a lot less weight and more bed space when the hitch is in.

Anybody towing these HTs with a 3/4 ton using Timbrens or any other suspension aids? Kinda wondering how much the truck will squat with the pin weight and whether I will need them or not.

I love my Rock Stabilizer system. It cost me $336 to my door.

I would 86 the cord, I bought a pin stableizer used it for about 6 mos now it sits in storage. As far as pads we have used the yellow plastic ones never had a problem. Save the money and go to dinner
