New To Jayco/Pinnacle 38FLSA

Hey Folks,

Glad I was able to find a Jayco forum. Im picking up a new Pinnacle 38FLSA tomorrow evening and pretty excited about it. Only thing I am worried about is that the dealership has gotten some pretty distasteful reviews regarding the maintenance/service department. The Pinnacle is coming right off the showroom floor so I'm crossing my fingers that there are zero issues with it and it was built with extra care since it was a premier model. My main question is, is it typical for dealerships to get bad reviews, blow off customers? It seems like every RV Dealership in the city of Houston has bad reviews on their site. Last question, when picking it up I'm sure its a good idea to run all the slides in and out, make sure the awning is functioning properly along with LED lights etc etc?

Congratulations on your new Pinnacle!

Often times when it comes to reviews, the only one you see are those customer with a bad experience. Do all the satisfied and happy owners post their experiences? Probably not.

It is very important that you go over every detail of your new coach - everything. All lights, all outlets (take a simple GFI tester for this), the frig is working, the cook top and oven all work, microwave, TVs, entertainment center, water pump funtions properly to every sink, shower and toilet, etc. It's easy to get caught up with the excitement as you do your walk-thru. Keep your conversation directed to the task at hand as it is easy to get off track. Make sure you get every question answered. Take notes and don't let the person doing the walk-thru hurry things along. Have fun and move at your perferred pace.

Enjoy your travels.

Congrats, and welcome.

You should be checking everything....I had my wife film the whole walk through so that we could remember everything.
