Thumbs up new to the rv life

Hello all my wife and I will pick up our new 2014 front living Pinnacle wed. July 1. It is our first ever fifth wheel. Wow it's a big one and I'm a little nervous about driving it but so very excited about our choice. I did a lot of resurch and chose the Jayco. Hope I made the right choice. Should I maybe try and find a fifth wheel towing course before we hit the road as full timers. Everyone I have met so far the RVER. Have been super nice and friendly and helpful we hope that continues. Thanks Patrick and Julie

Welcome to the forum! Take it to a school parking lot or some other lightly used lot and practice backing into "camping spaces". Go slow and be careful, especially when you are camping...don't let people rush you as you maneuver, unhook and hook up to leave. They can wait for you to do your work safely just as you would patiently wait for them too.

You might want to look for pull through camp spaces initially but watch the overhead clearances as you get accustomed to the new unit.

Congratulations! We too are new to RVing, and the advice given above is exactly what we do/did. Remember that you need to take wider turns too - I've made that mistake already, in a campground no less, but thankfully no damage done to anything but my pride.

Congratulations!!!!!!!! Thats a super nice unit.
Keep a sharp eye on the mirrors when you first navigate around fuel islands. It takes a wider swing with a 5th wheel then a travel trailer.

It's closer than you think!

Congratulations on your new trailer. You may want to look at your calendar, though. July 1st is Tuesday, not Wednesday! Wouldn't want you to miss such an important event!(LOL)
