New to Us Jayco

My wife and I just "pulled the trigger" on a 2010 JAYCO EAGLE SUPER LITE 29.5RKS from a respected dealer here in the St. Louis area. This is our first 5th wheel trailer. We will be pulling it with a low miles, 2002 Chevy 2500 HD 6.0 gas with 4.10 gears. Does anyone have experience with the quality of this trailer and/or problems pulling it with this truck. We hope to go out west to Idaho this summer.

The wife and i had the same setup. 5thwheel was a 2013 but the same model. The truck was a 2010 with same motor and rear end. This is a great match. We had no issues towing, plenty of power and a comfortable ride. I would not have hesitated to tow it any where. We recently upgraded to a eagle 293rkds using the same truck with no problems. The ht that we had was solid, built well with no issues or complaints.
Congradulations and happy camping!

Congratulations!!

We bought a the same model January 2016 and really enjoy it. Especially the big kitchen.

We tow with a 98 Dodge 2500 4x4 with the 5.9 diesel. The truck is basically stock and tows fine. Im sure the GM 8.0 will do fine as well.
