newbie 5er hitch preference

If I get the Jayco 26.5RLDS 5er we are evaluating, I need to figure out which hitch to install. Looking at the Anderson 3200 Ultimate or the PullrRite 2400ISR. Both are 20K hitches and about the same price, Anderson is 40 lbs. and PullRite is 52 lbs.

I'm sure you all have opinions based on personal use so please let me know what you think.

I'm leaning towards the Anderson based on recommendations from friends.
(Have a F150 long bed 4x2 with rails already in place)

Happy RVing,
Jeff

I purchased the Andersen 3200 hitch for my setup, and I wouldn't tow with anything else. That being said, my in laws are towing their Eagle with the Pull-rite hitch, and it takes them twice as long to hitch & unhitch. Anyway, check out the detailed review & photos on my mods thread.

Another Andersen Fan here.....

I use my bed for too many things to have a set of bed rails always in the way. So that removed the Pull-Rite from the running early and made my choice easier.

I have not had any hands on experience with the Pull-Rite, so I can't give a comparison.

I have a Reese, but am switching to a Blue Ox as soon as I can justify the cost.

B & W Companion here, it mounts to my factory puck system. It’s the only 5th hitch I’ve owned so I have nothing to compare it to but I have no issues or complaints.

We opted for the Reese Goosebox. Truck bed is 100% functional with nothing to remove.
