Newbie 5th Wheel OOPS. Wiring Question.

2023 Jayco Eagle HT 29.5 BHDS.

So I forgot to toss the wiring connector OUT of the bed and pulled forward. It got wedged in the gap between the bed and tailgate. I caught it before it was a complete disaster but did have a few connections come loose. I managed to figure out all but what's up with these 2 red wires. They were loose and there was one connector loose in the junction box. Trailer lights and brakes are working as well as 12v accessory power.

Can anyone offer assistance?

Thanks!
Harold

Your talking about your 7 pin wire harness between the TV and 5ver??

If so, that is your 12V aux wires, aka the charge wire between the TV and camper.

Oh. Thanks.. I forgot to add that they both are on the camper side of the harness, not the hitch side. I'll go find the 12v from the hitch and see if/where it's connected.

Ok, the red wire from the tow vehicle side to the trailer side is still intact. Verified that my RV battery is charging as well. 12.7vdc resting, and 13.9vdc with the truck running. One of the loose wires is maybe pinkish vs red to boot.

I always stick the end of the seven-way plug in the back of the pinbox when disconnected, because as you see this can happen.

email to Jayco tech support, email address: service@jayco.com

Tell them your trailer Year, Model and serial number, what happened and what you are looking for, the 7 way wire to junction box color codes for your trailer and they will email the wire diagram back to you.
