No cable connector?

I had a 92 bumper pull years ago and on the outside was a cable hook up, so at a campground you could hook up to cable TV. I just bought a 94 jatco 5 th wheel and no cable connector! There's a spot for a phone type connector. Am I missing the cable connector somewhere? Can you aftermarket install one where the internet phone jack is?
Thank you

You know that's a good question. I thought my other camper was as old but now I think about it, it might have been a 1997 or 98

I have seen some smaller TTs that didn't have outside CABLE TV connections before. They were 'OPTIONAL'...

Not all that difficult to install an outside TYPE F connection plate with weather tight flip-up lids... You may have to re-organize your OTA Antenna wiring some to implement CABLE TV and get rid of your old analog type TV sets....

A simple TV SETUP connection is to use one of those WINEGARD ANTENNA WALL Panels and configure like this

I have no idea what a INTERNET PHONE CONNECTION looks like...

Thank you

Ok that helps. I looked again and it looks like a regular phone jack on outside and then there's a phone jack inside on wall. Maybe at one time back in the 90's you could get telephone at campgrounds?

MontanaCamper - I see you are from north part of Montana... My Brother-in-law was trying to give me piece of land up in the NW corner near the Canada border just East of the FLATHEAD NATL FOREST. He had this from back in his Air Force days at Cut Bank...

Nothing on the couple of acres property and was always going to build up a cabin thing haha...

I went looking for the property one time way back then and it snowed and blowed I never got far looking for it haha... Think I found the PIKES LAKE which was suppose to be near the property... I too used to work on the Air Force Radar sites up that way back in the 60s which are all closed now haha... I spent alot of time working at the Fortuna Radar site on the North Dakota side of Montana... Beautiful country up there...

My JEEPS would feel right at home haha...

My Brother-in-law has passed now and I have no idea what become of his Cabin Land Idea haha -

My first 2 fifth wheels , Sunnybrook 97 and 04, had telephone jacks and cable jacks on the outside.
I think cell phones killed the need for phone jacks.

Yes , I used to work for an ambulance service working in part of glacier Natl park. Now I'm on the flat land if Eastern Montana. Flathead area is beautiful!

On a different note anyone know what a dangerous transmission temp is? I saw a post that said 200 but yesterday it was 92 degrees out, not towing and my temp was 192. I would imagine pulling camper it would be well over 200?

Normal transmission temperature on my Ram 2500 diesel is about 200 plus or minus a few.

I had a analog gauge installed on my last F350 and it normally ran 175-200 depending on grade and ambient temps. If it ever creeped over 205, I would pull over and let it idle a while.

One thing that affects temp displayed is the location of the sending unit.
