No gas lighting for hot water tank

Hey guys my hot water tank won’t light for gas. The electric heats just fine but no gas. The furnace is working so I know I have propane. I have turned off the lp switch and waited 5 min and turned back on and no lighting at all.

You didn't post what RV it is in or what type you have. Mine is go outside and manual light. But if you post your brand and size water heater maybe someone could help. On mine you have to hold down the pilot light button for some time to get gas to the pilot light.

Sounds like a bad circuit board. My FW did the same thing after 6 months. Replaced the circuit board under warranty. They fail often. You can get them on amazon or Ebay. Most dealers have them in stock also.

are you turning on the gas switch inside the RV?
does the red light come on?

Yes I am turning on the gas switch again the electric side works but the gas won’t work

When you turn the switch on, does it have a Little red light above the switch? If that red light is on, good chance it is a bad circuit board.
