no lights in bedroom

question - My fuse blew that controlled my bedroom lights and 2nd A/C in the bedroom. The fuse had blown, so I replaced the 15w fuse, but it did not fix the issue. Has anyone had the issue prior?

The fuse that I replaced it with is still good. I know this because I used the fuses with the small lights to indicate it is operational.

I am still under the warranty period, but just curious if there is some trick or if someone has experienced the same issue.

thanks in advance.
Dan

Lights and AC would be 2 separate circuits. AC would be a tripped circuit breaker and lights, a 12v fuse.

no bedroom lights

Sorry, the fuse box states bedroom and 2nd thermostat (not the 2nd A/C) is on the same 15 amp fuse. The bedroom thermostat does not work either - no fan, etc...

Pull the thermostat there may be a fuse hidden behind it. I know "Dumb", but it may be there. Gingerly pull the wires out of the wall.

I will check behind the thermostat tonight to see if there is a hidden fuse - I would surely hope Jayco would not put one there.

I also will flip all of the breakers on and off to see if this will help to reset in any way.

Might be a long shot, but I have had fuses that look good end up being not good. Maybe just try another one to rule that out.

I did try another fuse, but no luck.

It goes in for a warranty look on the 26th. We camp the next 4 days. I just hate not having the bedroom fan blowing for white noise and air movement with the furnace. I know there are white noise apps, but not the same.

thanks anyways !!

Could be the fuse is blowing as your installing. Dead short in that circuit maybe. Check your new fuse for continuity.

turns out it was a broken/sheared wire. I didn't get a whole lot of details from CW, just glad it was fixed. My guess is it was related to the new front cap they installed on my unit 1.5 months ago because of spider cracks found in the old cap...

That explains a lot. Glad they found the problem. Enjoy.
