No Smart TV?

OK. Picked up our 2020 321RSTS yesterday and brought her home. Today, we started playing with things and it appears the TV isn't a smart TV? Am I missing something? As cheap as it is to make a TV a smart TV these days I'm surprised this doesn't appear to be one.

Is there a way for me to at least stream from the laptop to the TV and use it that way?

Otherwise, We've found a couple things we'll change/fix/modify but ultimately, we are in love with the unit.

You would think they would put in Smart devices because like you said, they're relatively cheap these days.

Our TV lacks any smart features, as well as the blu ray player. The Blu Ray is more confounding to me...

Anyway, I have an old Roku unit that we weren't using, so I dropped that in there. We haven't really used it yet since we just grab our DVD wallet on our way out the door, and catch OTA for the local stuff.

My current entertainment frustration is the HDMI cables. They're cheap, and so they cut in and out when we're cruising down a rough road. The kid gets frustrated, so for now I just tell him he needs to be patient.

I'll probably eventually replace the TV, and when I do that I'll upgrade all the cables too.

We have a Fire Box (before the Cube came out) in storage but have to find it. The irritating part is not even being able to log into Amazon and watch shows thru there. The DW has actually already said that maybe we need to replace it (the TV)! The part that really hurts is we debated on doing the second TV in the bedroom and decided to go ahead and do it. Now we are regretting that decision.

$30 gets you a ROKU stick and you're done. It's the easiest to use interface. But you'll need WiFi for things like Netflix. we use a verizon JetPak.

Look my post at this thread for how to cast from your laptop/tablet/smartphone to your TV with ROKU or similar...

We use a Fire TV Stick. So far it has worked pretty good with the Verizon Jetpack.

We use a Google Chromcast. Use one phone as a hotspot/router and other phone to run the apps.

Most RV parks don't have the band width to support Smart TV's.
