Noisy toilet

2020 Jayco Eagle HT 28.5 rsts when we release the toilet flush pedal there is a hammer noise. Has anybody had the same problem? Talked to Dometic, was told it is a water Hammer noise and I should install a water hammer arrester in the water line to the toilet: that may fix it.

Trace back the line and look for somewhere the pipe is hammering and see if you can secure it. I had hammer behind the shower and used foam rubber and a few plastic hold downs at strategic spots.

water hammer, toilet only.

Same issue as OP. Toilet is the only fixture that produces it. It wakes the DW on my occasional nightly bathroom trips. A sleep deprived DW is not a good thing! Not gonna do the "If it's yellow let it mellow" routine. Planning on installing a T at the toilet and putting a piece of PEX tubing as long as I can fit for a air cushion. Anyone else tackle this successfully?
