Norcold 4 door fridge

Hi all, just a quick heads up to an issue I noticed a few days ago. We have a norcold 4 door fridge in our unit and I saw the other day the flap seal on the left side door was not closing all the way..so essentially not getting a good seal. The trouble being…the flap was rubbing on the bottom of the door not allowing to to close properly. I just put a slight amount of Vaseline on the bottom of the flap and that seemed to fix the issue. The only other thing would be to try and get a washer in the door hinge. But as long as the Vaseline works…I’m happy.

common issue, with many threads here.

easy fix with a small, thin washer added to the bottom of the left side door as a spacer. Generally effective at resolving the flap problem.

On mine, the center flap was dragging on the bottom, and it has been fixed, shimmed with the washers on the hinge pin. I ALWAYS have to open and shut the right door last even if it wasn't opened or the door seal at the bottom does not seal properly.
