Norcold N-841 frost free function not working

There is a good layer of frost across the back of the freezer. It's been on about five days. I have cycled the power a few times as I work through some other issues with my new camper. Any ideas as to the problem? Or does it need a few days with no down time to do the defrost cycle?

It's certainly not a "Fost Free" unit, they call it "Frost Limiting". I expect you will have some frost, especially in humid areas and longer use times. In humidity free California, after 5 days I will have a little frost too.

Oh, ok... I didn't know about the frost limiting thing. It's a thick layer of frost, at least a half inch or more. And this is humid Florida.

Yep, that is typical. We have gone 3 months straight with no adverse affects. The only "frost free" part are the fins on the back of the fridge. It will go through a defrost to clean those off.
